Family Lawyers on the GLBTI~ Bandwagon Cash Cows

There is now a BIG push by the Australian Family Law Industry to chase the big dollars of the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Intersex (GLBTI) communities.

Many family law practices are now chasing the BIG MONEY of the GLBTI folk as State Government and Federal legislators move on giving same sex couples the rights afforded to married and de facto couples in the areas of property, child custody and family violence.

You only need to surf around the web at Family Law firm websites and see the interest in same sex relationships and the new legislation. It's here. More money for the lawyers. Same sex couples often have big property pools and guess what? The family lawyers are licking their chops for a piece of the action.

Even more amazing, some family law firms even provide pro bono legal services for GLBTI lobby groups, the payoff being a preferred provider or just for the love of the cause???? Am I being cynical?

It certainly has been my experience that Lawyers perpetuate matters so they can plunder the legal aid fund when they should be seeking a solution in " The best interest of the children!" as all these professionals pretend!!
