A SOUTH Australian police officer has been arrested during an early morning raid for allegedly accessing child pornography.
Child Exploitation detectives swooped on the Elizabeth officer's home early today and arrested him in front of his wife.
The officer, 53, has been charged with accessing child pornography and taking steps to access child pornography from last October to last month.
He has been suspended from duty.
Police will allege the offences took place while the officer was off duty.
He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court in June.
