Sarah Coles found she ‘owed’ $2.7 million when she checked her myki balance
A MELBOURNE commuter who checked her myki to find a staggering debt of almost $2.7 million, said she thought of ringing them to complain but feared she’d just be “put on hold”.
“myki reckons I owe them $2,684,350,” media professional Sarah Coles tweeted yesterday.
“I think this might be incorrect. Now I have proof that myki is s---house.”
Ms Coles said she was campaigning for her money back.
“Just to recap myki took my five dollars and my card and told me I owe them the population of Australia.
“I’m starting a campaign to get my $11 back. ($6 new card plus $5 reboot) myki you are dead meat. for realsies.”
Ms Coles told 3AW this morning she didn’t bother calling Metro because she thought it would be a waste of time.
“I’ve just got in my head that I’ll call them and then be put on hold,” she said.
