As more and more corrupt and barbaric military wrongdoing is exposed via wikileaks and the like, one can only be in awe of and honour those who take a stand like intelligence personnel PFC Manning and Edward Snowden, taking great risk to themselves to serve others.
So why is Manning and Snowden looking at decades in prison if found guilty? Good question.
If their oath includes "...I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic...", what is the problem?
They should not only be set free, but be awarded with great distinction in serving humanity, including financial rewards and promotions praising such honourable men.
But while this won't happen in the military and power monger circles, to the rest of us 6 billion plus strong population, these men and others are HERO's of the highest order.
The people truly responsible are those at the top who have created and order the military into such heinous battles.
Lest we never forget such brave soldiers for putting their lives on the line for the greater good, we welcome them into the league of collective consciousness of unconditional love.
The video 'Collateral Murder' revealing the atrocious incident in 2007 shows non aggressive civilians including two reporters from Reuters being killed in cold blood by a US armed helicopter. Innocent children were also wounded as were civilians (medical team) trying to recover their wounded were also fired upon.
What's more disturbing is the low level mindset from the military personnel, like this was some kind of fun and entertainment.

Just want to add tho that the moral code, discipline, courage and fighting spirit of many men and soldiers in the forces, and those in true peace keeping and aid missions, is truly admirable and worthy of respect. Perhaps if more civilians had some of these fine qualities and could get off their big fat arses we just may get ourselves a better planet.
Guess the real question is how do we influence and awake those in the forces to change missions from bad to good and stop being controlled like mindless robots?
Military mindset is a sad & sick part of humanity. Any soldier currently serving should discharge now!
This no doubt explains why the defense force suicide rate is so high. Who could possibly live with themselves after killing innocent people over & over.
All guilty soldiers, especially those at the top (incl. non-military) need to be charged with treason & hanged as per Nuremberg trials.
