Police have taken a 34-year-old man into custody and are questioning him over an incident outside the Family Court in Perth.
It is alleged the man drove a car into a woman and her lawyer outside the court in Terrace Road, about a 10:15am AWST.
The victims of the assault were emerging from the court where a judgment had just been handed down - the car was driven over a kerb and across a grassed area before hitting them.
The driver was later taken into custody at a home in the suburb of Stirling.
The two victims were taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
The extent of their injuries is not known at this stage.
