Croc hunter snaps back
Crikey! Steve Irwin's baby in a...CROC SHOCKER

The attack on "Croc Hunter" Steve Irwin by psychologist Joe Tucci was deplorable.

Tucci, an academic, lacked insight into Steve's love and devotion toward not only Bob but the whole Irwin family, not to mention his rare talent in dealing with animals most people are petrified of.

Tucci's comments were not the first attempt at denigrating a father and splintering a family through slanderous comments. (Herald Sun 3/1/04). A report written by Tucci in October 2002 recommended that a boy's contact with his father ought not be considered until early 2004 and contact with his sister be supervised, as it may prove stressful. Instead the boy was to remain in the care of his mother and her lesbian partner, imprisoned in a house all day long and prevented from attending school, seeing family and friends.

In the absence of evidence to support Tucci's fanciful anti-family recommendations, in January 2003 the boy was returned to the full time care of his father where he was re-united with his sister, family, friends and able to resume a normal life of a twelve year old boy.

Possibly Joe Tucci has a few issues of his own?

Steve, it's clear to many Australians, contrary to the guff portayed in the media, you are indeed a good father who loves and protects his family. Don't let the moronic Joe Tucci's of the world bring you down. For every one of them there are thousands more good parents like you and your wife Terri.

Hire a good lawyer and sue Joe Tucci for defamation. If anyone should be facing criminal charges it should be him.

Please, for the rest of us decent folk, keep educating and spreading the word and your passion on wildlife.
