- Atwork Australia – A predator in our community, causing harm and injury

Show me an industry where family, attempting to help a family member are treated in the following manner. In my latest attempts to deal with the belligerence of atWork Australia, we now have a total of the following incidences, and hence this private corporation, paid by public funds and government contracts is now under investigation.
I have been
– ignored, over and over again
– hung up on in mid sentence
– talked over the top of
– given wrong information
– when walking into the Vic Park office, had employees hold their hands in the air and say ‘we can’t speak to you”. They were clearly forewarned of how to behave.
– repeatedly told ‘we don’t have to speak with you’
– repeatedly told ‘ have your brother come in’. Despite his incapacity to do that.
-told ‘we don’t recognise a Centrelink nominee, despite a person assigning a nominee because they WANT and NEED help from a trusted family member.
– had paperwork rejected
– had Police sent to my door
– had my brother made to appear at a Police Station, exacerbating stress, so that now he refuses to leave a property and has now had no funding since Feb 17th, when Julie Steer upon failing to communicate, just cut him off.
– told I am ‘pest’,
– given a wall of silence over and over again and then told I am a pest for pursuing remedy in a matter created by the belligerence of this private company.
– banned form making contact with any office
– experienced every office ignoring me, by not acknowledging emails, or returning phone calls when I am trying to establish remedy
– and treated like no one in any industry ever affords themselves the privilege of. Particularly an industry that alleges to be helping those in need.
Whilst my brother was
– threatened and
- then simply cut off despite all their wonderful website paragraphs about how they are here to ‘help’.
– forced to appear at a Police Station or risk the constant arrival of Police at family and friends, looking for him.
- At no time has atWork offered any paper work or process, or accountability for this action.
Clearly this is highly disturbing, controlling and manipulating conduct, driven by revenues and KPI’s and control of systems to ensure as much money can be made as possible with minimal interference by others who don’t actually have a bar code attached to them. Like the concerned family members who have been greatly involved, but then had the door slammed in their face by this private corporation.
It is beyond extraordinary.
This private company is too big. It is a belligerent monopoly in the marketplace. It has values that are not in alignment with what community wants and needs. The marketplace clearly needs diversity to prevent this conduct and far greater check points of it’s conduct.
It is now under investigation, as part of an appeal process in Centrelink in which all it’s conduct is documented and posted on the internet for community awareness about this disgusting behaviour.
If this family member commits suicide, over what has occur with this private company paid by public funds, it will be held accountable for murder.
Does anyone actually deal with these matters who is not the $20 per hour 20 year old processing people, who has a gag order on her, or the receptionist who is paid to lie, or the switchboard operator who is also good at lying, or the bitch called Julie Steer, who is unprofessional beyond measure, or the bitch Megan who is the area manager and after atWork’s contribution to harm of my brother had the audacity to accuse me of being a ‘pest’ and told me to cease contacting their offices.
Are these people brainwashed? Or on drugs?
