When politicians and people start whinging about 'dole cheats' and people on welfare being a burden to taxpayers, just keep in mind the billions of dollars the governments give to big corporations. Whilst the video below is in reference to US corporations, these corporate handouts clearly happen in Australia as with other countries.

When you come to think about, politicians have been whinging about the level of government welfare support for decades, yet the welfare regime on the whole stays the same and gets hushed up quickly. Why?

Well, a few reasons that come to mind is that the amount of welfare given to the people versus the corporate sector is minuscule. In the absence of hard figures and if one had to guess, it would be hundreds of millions compared with multi-billions respectively.

Any money that is put through people welfare is predominantly like supplying the engine of your car with oil. Yes no real huge benefit to the individual save it keeps the economy going round and round and round, with most welfare dollars going to corporates again as in food(food corporate giants), rent or mortgage interest(corporate banks), bills(Utility corporates), fuel(oil corporates) and maybe some pennies left over into the Education sector(government or corporates) and to small businesses. Nothing much is left for the individual except they get to keep breathing for another fortnight. That is a slave's reward.

Thirdly, a predominant welfare state is a fascist/communist regime to have everyone reliant upon the state where the state has control and exerts the 'big stick'.
